Webheath Estate, London

Housing

Bailey Garner, in conjunction with the London Borough of Camden, specified a semi-intensive green roof to be installed at Web Heath Estate. The planting scheme includes a mixture of brown roof elements along with specific design features created using various plug plants to produce a range of designs.

The roof areas are built up using differing heights/blends of substrate ensuring that each plant type was installed in the most suitable growing medium. The waterproofing was installed and is a traditional warm roof construction utilising a root resistant cap sheet.

The Green Roof elements were built up using drainage board with a filter fleece and engineered substrate to suit.
